Projects 2026/27

Continuation of the Food Assistance Project in Afghanistan

The food assistance project in Afghanistan will continue in 2026, delivering essential support to some of the country’s most vulnerable communities. The initiative focuses on female-headed households affected by poverty, as well as individuals living with disabilities or severe chronic illnesses. They receive urgently needed food packages that help secure their nutritional needs throughout the year.

During the harsh winter months, the programme expands to include an additional delivery of firewood. This vital support ensures that families can continue to cook their meals and heat their homes despite freezing temperatures, offering a measure of stability during the most challenging season.

Support in Everyday Life

Roshany organization was also able to provide funding for a refurbished wheelchair for a man in his early 60s in Kabul who was left partially paralyzed following a stroke. Due to extremely limited financial means, the family was dependent on external assistance.

The wheelchair was professionally inspected and refurbished. It enables increased mobility for the beneficiary and significantly facilitates daily care, both within the home and outdoors. In addition, the wheelchair provides important relief for his wife and children, who take on the primary caregiving responsibilities, easing their physical burden and supporting them in managing everyday life.
